I think I figured it out - I think you meant 100 baht. That makes sense cause $5 Singapore dollars is worth about $4 CND.

From what i know(my dad just went there to work), Vietnam is quite safe. Not too sure about the sights to visit but you should not miss out Ho Chin Min City, its capital.
The sites are airasia.com and valuair.com.sg.
I just read in the papers that India is also planning to have budget airlines by end of the year!

You are such a great source of info! Thanks so much! I was reading a travel journal on the site I used on my trip about a girl in Thailand and she was describing a cooking class she was taking in Thailand! I found this idea so great. Not only do you get great knowledge but it's an unperishable way to bring back a souvenir! a cookbook and knowledge on how to cook thai food. I know that once in Thailand, I will do this for sure. The girl was nice enough to give me all the info, if you need the contact info anyone, let me know! It's unexpensive and I find it a great idea. For 5 days of classes, it cost her 124$ canadian!
