Return from Cinque Terre, Italy

What's up all . I Just got back from a 6 day trip to Italy. Before I left I had read up on Kim's feature about Cinque Terre and decided to make a trip there. It was by far my favorite part of the trip. Just wish I could have been there more than a couple of days. Beautiful hiking, great food, and very cool people. They have a sweet desert wine from the area that is also very good.

We stayed at the Ostello 5 Terre Youth Hostel in Manarola. Very clean and the staff is great. It was $16 USD a night. They due have a midnight curfew though so if staying up late and partying is your thing might what to try another place.

Boston!

I'm so glad you went to Cinque Terre, isn't it amazing? I don't think there is any other place like it-it's so beautiful.

We stayed at a pensione right across from the hostel-nice view from the square, huh! But the hike up that hill with your pack isn't so fun. We were there in the summer and it was damn hot going up that hill.

Don't suppose you happened to have the pesto pizza, did you? I swear I dream about how good it was!

Anyway, glad you had a safe trip and had a good time!

just wondering if you were the guy i met while hiking the cinque terre. i saw a guy with a boston shirt on traveling on a school break. i was with 2 aussie girls and i told him that i live in the north end and will start work at childrens hospital in april. just wondering, thought it would be funny if it were you.
