Forget cold, ever since spring has arrived I put away my boots and my big winter jacket. It's been so nice outside and I figure that if I'm no longer prepared for it, winter won't dare come back! How's that for logic!

Kind of late here, not sure how I fell upon this, but easy on Thunder Bay!
I'm in western Canada as well now, but my home is Thunder Bay and yes it gets bitterly cold. There are some benefits though! No hurricanes, earthquakes etc. HA.

Well, my "lucky me, it was 84 here today" post of March 23rd has turned into "I totally HATE Florida in the summer!" instead. Yesterday it was 96 here and with the high humidity the heat index made it feel like 115!! Stepping outside for even just a couple of minutes leaves one feeling like you have walked through an invisible shower. It is simply oppressive and almost takes your breath away. I don't deal well with the heat on the best of days but when we get into these weather patterns I find myself totally hibernating in the house. It's just too hot to do anything else.

Hot down here as well Ging! The only good thing is the lightning storm, otherwise, I could do without the humidity...

it's still a cool 9C (50F) degrees here. I'm sick of wearing a jacket!

Right now I will trade you and gladly take your jacket and you can have the gallons of sweat! And the A/C bills!
