Hey Ray,
I don't remember if you mentioned at all during your planning stage, but I was wondering why you moved in the first place, and why did you decide to choose Prague? It sounds like you're enjoying it though! Do they have many sporting events you can attend during the year?

Hi Patrick, The biggest reason for my move was because I was bored and not doing anything that I found exciting. I wasn't working and not excited about doing the traditional work thing. It had always been a dream to live in Europe, so I just decided to go for it. As for why I chose Prague, most of my reasons can be found here on this thread: pretravel.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ray&action=display&n=1&thread=6739In addition to those reasons, Prague seemed like a good base to check out other areas in Europe that I have never been. I can't wait for the weather to get better to go check out Poland and the Baltics. Cheers, Ray

Hi Ray, Yeah, I hear ya. The traditional work thing bores the heck out of me, and I know what you mean about the Internet craze dying out. Everyone who got in early made the bucks and the rest of us are all fighting not to get layed off, moving from company to company . I'd love to get out of here and just go and travel for a year if I had any money. I think it's great and pretty bold of you to just get up and move like that, sounds like you're having a good time so far. I've considered going somewhere to study for a year in europe or to work as well - just to experience a different atmosphere, for a change of scenery. I'm really surprised how fast you decided what you wanted to do, got everything together and just went for it! It is a great way to see other places too, no trans-atlantic flights needed!
