lol, I will DEFINITELY have to try this one! haha!
The first time I saw one of these people I was about 10 at a nice restaurant in nyc (tavern on the green). It was a big shocker for me. The best way to avoid this is to get some anti-bacterial hand gel (from a place like bath and body works). I always have some on me, and when one of those bathroom people appear I just use it instead.

beware the "bathroom guy/lady" on my first europe trip, as a young teen, i found it a little disconcerting to find a woman hanging around *inside* the men's room. now days, it seems perfectly normal. what i most often saw was a table beside the door with brushes, combs, after shave, that sort of thing. on it was a tray with coins, obviously a place to leave a tip. guess i was just lucky not to run into any pushy types. - d
