this one sounds so cool, though. we're going through acis travel agency. And as long as I get the money saved up, it's 100% I just found out that missing eight musical rehearsals isnt a big deal, I just won't have a major role. there's always next year.

that's awfully rushed, Mar. do you have the option of extending it?
maybe go early & meet the group in Venice, and stay after they leave to explore more of Rome itself. (not just Pompeii & Vatican City)
i'm baffled by this plan to go North from Sorrento to Rome, just to turn around and go South to Pompeii the next day! whoever planned this might have a financial interest in having such a convoluted route.
or, is the plan to go from Sorrento to Pompeii to Rome? that would make more sense.

Montecatini is about 30mins out (north) of Florence (60mins in traffic), but is perched on a hilltop overlooking very pretty scenery and is a thermal springs town, so that's a bonus.
The trip is rushed, and some of the day trips need reworking (as per David), but at least it's a start and you'll get a taste of Italy for when you go back by yourself!

That's a shame rissama, but like you wrote, your sights are still set on Italy/Europe so you'll get there. To throw it in there - have you considered partaking in a student exchange programme? EF, Rotary, etc.

We only have one to Plock, Poland and that's only two or three people, and it's during the summer, which also means I probably won't be able to unless it's late July- early August
