I've read about silk sock liners here on the message boards and I'm curious as to what exactly they are. And where can I find them?

I bought mine at a sporting goods store.
They are just like socks except made of silk. They are really,really, really warm.

Missed this one while I was sick......
As Libby said they are just silk socks in essence. You wear them under your regular socks and being so thin they don't make your shoes feel 'tight' like an extra pair of normal socks can. They are incredibly warm however and especially for a winter time frame trip they are a must have!
