I'll be studying abroad in London until the end of April and then plan to spend 12 days traveling. I'm going to be leaving my large suitcases in London while I travel and am thinking of taking the following stuff with me in a small backpacK: -2 pairs jeans -2 tank tops -1 long sleeve shirt -2 sweaters -1 pair yoga pants -1 dressy shirt for bars/clubs -jacket -4 pairs underwear/socks -good walking sneakers -lightweight dressier shoes -trial size shampoo/cond/ etc
am i packing too little? thanks for any help!!

you'll also want flip-flops or sandals you don't care about to take showers in if you are staying in hostels. i'd suggset a couple more t-shirts/tanktops and do the layering thign with cardigans... skip the long sleeve shirt...

I´d also go with just one pair of jeans and one other pair of pants...khaki´s or cords or something. Jeans are heavy and take forever to dry! Amd it can still be quite chilly in Europe, depending on where you are going, so I would take Jules´advice to heart and take loads of tops and sweaters you can layer.

i'd go further than that. i'd advise no jeans, just quick drying slacks. but, that's me.

Thanks to everyone for the tips...I completely forgot about shower flip flops. I remember reading it once and then afterwards, I forgot. I'm defintly reconsidering the 2 pairs of jeans thing, especially if I'll have trouble with them drying...but I don't wear any other type of pants unless they're the business style ones... I'll have to work on that... hehe

if you know you can throw your jeans in a dryer than its not so bad.... its only 12 days, you'll only have to do wash your jeans once or twice...

Yup! But watch out for European dryers, it seems they are hotter than usual, to my experience anyways!

they are definately more efficient... didn't manage to shrink my jeans to match my weight loss in europe tho!
