This summer I am going to be studying abroad for 5 weeks in Galway Ireland and I want to stay for a couple weeks after the program is over and go to Dublin and London. I don't plan on doing any real extensive backpacking, I'd like to stay in only two hostels.
However, because I will be staying in a dorm-like setting in Galway I will have a lot of luggage.
Does anyone know if I can store the bulk of my belongings until I'm ready to leave or have any other suggestions?

mbondi05, Welcome to the Boards! First of all, it's great that you'll have an opportunity to study in Galway; it's an interesting place. If your studies allow some free time, you might enjoy the Galway Bakery Company for a nice meal - the food is great!
Regarding your luggage question, I don't have any easy answers. You indicated that you will have "a lot of luggage". Could you elaborate on the quantity?
The method I'd likely use under the circumstances, would be to follow the rule of "packing the same for three weeks as for three months". Reduce the amount of kit as much as possible and pack everything in one large Backpack and a Daypack (useful for carry-on). As you'll be there in summer, you probably won't need any "heavy" clothing (except for rain gear, of course). That way it will be fairly easy to travel on to Dublin and London. When you arrive in a new city, leave your main Pack in the Hostel and take the Daypack with "essentials".
It's difficult to offer more specific suggestions, without knowing exactly what type of gear you need to take along? Hopefully the others will have some good suggestions.
Happy travels!

It might not be the cheapest option, but maybe you can send all the things you don't need for the last leg to your parents, or friends. (UPS/Fedex/DHL)

mbondi05, maybe a place like this would work for you. But I have no idea of the cost: www.ustoreit.ie/I believe you can mail stuff home by surface mail, which can take weeks, but I think it may be cheaper than the courier services. Look into this to see if it's a viable option, if you do not need your extra luggage right away.
