Any guidebook will have a map of the tube system....and the web site does also. Most books will tell you what tube stop is closest to that attraction so just look at the map and see what zone that stop is in. If you are having trouble just email me with particular places you need and I'll look for you. Fairly sure the web site has a 'search' feature on it where you can enter a place name or address and it will tell you what stop to use. And bear in mind that of your farther afield stops are not reachable via tube at all.....i.e. the best way to get to Greenwich, tourist wise, is to go by boat although you can grab the train, same for Hampton Court...the train or by boat (be aware it is a leisurely boat ride of about 4 hours)......but for most of them you will still take the tube to the appropriate station to get the train or pier for the boats.

I am so bummed out! Thanks for all the info dustoffmom, was great, I'll use it some day, but finally, the tickets were 200$ more expensive with a stop in London, so I booked a flight Montreal-Prague, Prague-Berlin, with a stop in Amsterdam, even if I won't be stopping cause i'll be visiting it during my trip! I'm disappointed but I guess my enthousiasm for London will just have to be put into an other great trip next year or after that! xoxo jen

The tube pass for a week for zones 1 and 2 you do not need a pass for.. They cost 19.20lbs.. I just bought one about 2 weeks ago.. If you get one for longer you do need a photo pass. Also with the week long pass you can ride any bus in any zone for free. 1- 6 so it makes it a really good deal. Consider this heavily.. it will save you the hassle and time of getting a new pass everyday. Sorry for the late response on this matter just haven't been checkin the posts.. Also Dustoff assumed right by what i meant.. All the main attractions are all a walking distance and it's a great city to walk in. I will stress again make sure you go to the Dali Museum right outside the Eye of London. It's worth every penny. Also in the Dali Museum there is a Picasso exhbit. HOpe you check it out. Cheers Gary
