Does anyone know if there is a significant cost difference doing Open Ended vs. Open Jaw? My friend and I are planning on doing 3 mos or more, we don't want to set an end date and we don't want to fly out of the same country, but from what I've seen scanning the message boards this doesn't seem possible.

A roundtrip, open-ended ticket could work pretty well. You could just take a cheap flight back to where you started (e.g. London or Amsterdam) when you are ready to leave.
