So what do you think.... do we need some guideforeurope.com t-shirts?
I could design them on cafepress - normally you are supposed to add a $1 or $2 to make some money as well but if I don't add it in, they would be $13.99 each. I think shipping is $5 or something like that.
What do we think.. yes? no? too pricy? too guideforeurope.com? ;D

Well ya know I will be up for it. ;D Let's see the design first and let the regs here have a vote maybe? How about some sort of 'notice' along the lines of 'have a question...ask here' sort of thing. Who do we have that is a good graphic artist? Perhaps we need a logo/mascot sort of thing? And hell, your site is free, go ahead and add a buck or two to help offset costs.

Well, here's one logo I had done when I initially was thinking about the shirts. The cool part is I can do several logos and different designs and then people can choose from them. You can also pick from mugs, mousepads and that sort of thing. Anyone want to try their hand at designing a logo? I had thought of this for the small logo on the upper left side: - like this: and this for the back in the center: That was just one idea... I would also like to do one with the JRR Tolkien quote "Not all that wander are lost". Kim

I like it! And I like the Tolkein quote better...just MHO. I've not an artistic bone in my body so can offer no design help.

Good idea to have t-shirts, too bad we couldn't have some type of gettogether and have great fun while wearing these splendid t-shirts, we're all so far apart, too bad, I'd love to meet everyone!

I love the idea. I really like your design Kim, maybe you can find (or make) a globe centered on Europe instead? Or a map of Europe w/ a similar design? I also really like Patrick's second design. I have to disagree w/ Ging though, I like the unknown quote better than the Tolkien.

Maybe you should have a little contest to see what other people come up with.
... and while I am at it, how about this for a quote: "The journey of a thousand miles, begins with one step!" Lao Tzu, Chinesse philosopher

T-Shirts, what a great idea! I like both of Patrick's logos (too bad they couldn't be "blended", as both versions have some good features)? The Lao Tzu inscription sounds appropriate, but the "Life is a Journey" is also good (I would delete the 'Unknown' though). I'll be waiting to buy one as soon as they're ready.

I LOVE the T-shirt plan as well! I like the first logo Patrick sent the most. I live in the top lefthand side of the 'O' Whatever logo is chosen, I think it should contain a map of Europe in some way. And I'm a huge fan of LOTR, so my vote goes to the Tolkien quote! Great work, Patrick! And I agree with Ginger, just add some bucks to the price in order to keep this board free of spam!
