Have had this book almost since the day it was published......gratifying to thumb through it and see how many places I have managed to be able to yellow 'highlight'. Still, way more places to go!

I love this book!! I got it when it first came out (2003). I loved seeing where I have been and where I want to go one day!!
And my state is mentioned! The Iowa State Fair. The highlight of the summer!! Plenty of fried stuff and booze!! And the butter cow! ;D

you can also get it off of chapters... i think it was aboug 20$ and worth every penny! i love drooling over it! some places (like Necker Island) I don't think I'll ever make it to... a private island in the bvi owned by richard branson (the virgin guy)... i think you can rent it for something rediculous like 15000$ USD a day... when i was in the bvi we passed necker... i think that's as close as it gets... one of my friends has been tho... she was invited to a private party there when she worked at another resort.

I know! They are not that tough, there are plenty bookstores with english books, but it's not where I go usually, so I had to wait a couple of days!

...there are loads of us here who can get it and ship it to you! Like, you know, someone that works in a bookstore and gets a good discount and wouldn't mind buying for the regs if they can't find a book..... ;D
