Is anyone else still watching? I am, but hardly enthusiastically. I think this 'family' thing has been a real failure. There are a couple I like...but the fact that they have 'children' this time, keeping them effectively from leaving the states...well sorry, I don't like it. A big reason I always loved this show is seeing all the different places they go and getting new ideas or reliving old memories. It's just not doing it for me this year...and I feel sure the ratings overall are reflecting it. Meanwhile, GSN has run through them all now and is in the final three of season one....Team Guido! Has there ever been a better love/hate team?

Oh my heavens Jules! You've never seen Amazing Race?! I know it is available in Canada as Kim and Jen both watch it, or used to. Can you get GSN (game show network) on your cable provider? As a fellow wanderer, you are missing a great fun show!

so i think i was missing the fact that TAR = the amazing race  but no i don't think i get it here. i may have seen it once before i moved to qc... but i never got hooked... not a big fan of reality tv. i have no cable (poor student). all i get is global which plays about 3 good US shows and A LOT of reality show crap. no abc, cbs or nbc for me!  i miss my west wing and ER! Ya know, I really really dislike that Paolo (sp) family. The mother is most disagreeable, nevertheless were I her I'd give those two boys the beatings they need! If my son ever spoke to me that way..and in that tone...he'd find his face smacked pretty darn quick.  Overall though, there are no teams I particularly like/root for. This whole season is one big bust!  |
