doug the silly man forgot his charger!!! i asked him if he met you and the silly boy said his cell died.
but i agree we're lacking discussion here....
anyone read any good books?? jen has me addicted to kathy reichs' books... which are awsome... but i can't stop once i start one... so no more books for me!!! i'm currently reading a very odd book called "cassandra french's finishing school for men"
eagle... most blogs are free... you can always buy a pro acount for some but i don't really see the benefit... maybe if you wanted to upload tonnes of pictures...

Of course I went on Everest! A few times! ;D
Animal Kingdom Lodge is friggin amazing! There are animals right there at the Lodge, and every night they light this massive fire outside. It's soooooo cool! Did you hit the Magic Kingdom? I hadn't seen it with all the gold figures they put around the castle now!

Thanks for the tips. I'll check out the Blog situation when I get a few minutes. I should probably also look for a photo site, perhaps something like pbase, smugmug or whatever. Of course, these will probably just be aimed at a smaller audience (family & friends) as I'm not sure my thoughts or images would appeal to a wider group?
Even though I have lots of "spare time" right now until my leg heals and I'm back to work, there always seems to be so many things that "must" be done every day. Due to all the "free time" I've had, my tentative travel plans for this Fall are now meticulously planned! I also just received an invitation for a "grand tour of London", so perhaps I should start working on plans for the next trip as well (maybe Spring 2007)? Regarding the invitation, it never fails to amaze me how the connections we make in life sometimes turn out - the invitation was extended by someone I met by chance several years ago, who is presently working in Guatemala.
This is perhaps a bit "off topic", but since there were some comments about "lack of discussion", I thought I'd just include something extra.
The fact that Doug forgot his Phone charger is perhaps a good reminder for all here, to perhaps work from a Packing List or whatever so that "essentials" don't get left behind on a trip. I use a very comprehensive list when I'm getting ready for major excursions (such as Europe), but often use this to some extent for shorter trips as well.
