Q: Why should I register for these boards?
Registering for these boards gives you access to certain things, such as our group calendar, that guests cannot use.
It also gives you the ability for things such as choosing your own avatar (picture) under your name and viewing how many posts you have made.
Most importantly, it makes it easier for people to remember who you are, what kind of trip you have planned and remember your background history. Someone posting as a guest with a different log-in everytime will probably have to post their details over and over, as people won't be able to relate to who it is. A member with a registered user name posts and everyone remembers .. "Oh that's Fred, he's leaving to go to Europe in July..."

Whose message boards are these?
The message boards are part of the site, guideforeurope.com. It is owned and run by Kim T., an active participant of these boards who posts under the name "Kim".
Kim backpacked through Europe for 7 months with her now husband (yes, they are still together!) and is planning to go back in the near future in order to check out hostels and get new information for everyone.

Q: I think these boards are great.. what can I do to help? These are all ways to help support guideforeurope.com: 1) Book your hostels online here:www.guideforeurope.com/bookeurohostels.html2) Pay for a month of ad free views-you will see a button at the bottom of this page saying "Make a Donation". It's $6.99 for a month of ad-free. Kim currently pays this so there will be no annoying ads or pop-ups, paying for a month would really help! 3) Review hostels when you return from your trip. This helps everyone that will be travelling to Europe after you. Extremely helpful. 4) Offer your experiences and advice to help those less travelled on the message boards. Everyone was a first time traveller at one time!
