Q: Why should I register for these boards?
Registering for these boards gives you access to certain things, such as our group calendar, that guests cannot use.
It also gives you the ability for things such as choosing your own avatar (picture) under your name and viewing how many posts you have made.
Most importantly, it makes it easier for people to remember who you are, what kind of trip you have planned and remember your background history. Someone posting as a guest with a different log-in everytime will probably have to post their details over and over, as people won't be able to relate to who it is.
A member with a registered user name posts and everyone remembers .. "Oh that's Fred, he's leaving to go to Europe in July..."
