Ah....Dresden! Will you do me a huge favor? I was there last in Dec 2000.....they were then about 1/3 of the way through with the reconstruction of the Frauenkirche.....will you stand back and get a good pic of where it is now? Unless I am mistaken, they should be nearing completion.....for some reason 2004 is stuck in my mind of when they hoped to be finished.
Take a tour of the Sempreoper house Bara! Amazing!

Wow.. you have a fantastic selection of places, you are going to have a blast. The only change I personally would make would be to swap Lagos, Portugal for Alicante, Spain.
Not much in Alicante and it's incredibly humid.. INCREDIBLY humid. Lagos is a gorgeous little beach front town on the Algarve. You would love it.
Kim
Edited to say I just looked it up and the average humidity for Alicante in June and July is 78%.

Here's the itinerary for my son and me:
* Vancouver - London, June 27, arrive afternoon June 28 (by Air Transat, http://www.airtransat.com) * London - Aarhus, Denmark - night of June 29 (by Ryanair, http://www.ryanair.com) * Aarhus, Denmark - Copenhagen - July 1 (by bus and ferry, see http://www.abildskou.dk) * Copenhagen - Malmo, Sweden - July 6 (train) * Malmo, Sweden - Goteborg, Sweden - July 7 (train) * Goteborg - Oslo - July 9 (train) * Oslo - London July 12 evening (Ryanair) * London - Vancouver evening of July 14
Other transport methods: * Gatwick Express (most likely, but South Central Trains is also a possibility) to and from Gatwick Airport and Victoria Station * National Express (most likely, but Stansted Express from Liverpool Street Station is also a possibility) to and from Victoria Coach Station and London Stansted Airport * Torp Express (from Oslo Galleri bus station to Sandefjord Airport)
Suggestions welcome!
