I'm in Canada and burned cds in 5 different countries. They all worked fine over here. You shouldn't have any trouble reading any CDs you burn in Europe (or anywhere, for that matter) as long as they were burned correctly (I always checked on a nearby computer to make sure there were actually files on the disc).
