I fell on this deal yesterday and have to share with my fellow travelers.
If you are planning to purchase point to point tickets, as I was, and know when and where you are traveling in Germany, go to bahn.de and check the special out. Then click on Internat. Guest if you don't read German.
Travel with in Germany 29 -69 Euro. My ticket was supposed to be 112 Euro and I got it for 29 Euro. Savings of $100 US...I am happy.
