Hello all.
Here is my summer itinerary. Does this sound feasible?
July 19 – 21 Amsterdam (train) July 21 – 23 Berlin (train) July 23 – 25 Prague (train) July 25 - 27 Vienna (overnight train) July 27 – 31 Florence (train) July 31 – Aug 2 Cinque Terre (train) Aug 2 – 6 Rome (plane) Aug 6 – 9 Paris (train) Aug 9 – 13 Amsterdam (plane) Aug 13 – 15 London
Thanks, Ann

Hi Ann,
It's feasible, but why is Amsterdam twice on your list?
If you don't want to take an overnight train between Amsterdam and Berlin (which goes via Brussels btw), then consider taking a flight with Transavia.com.
I think you should allow yourself a little more time in Berlin and Vienna, in both cities there is a lot to see and do. Also you have to allow yourself some time for transport. As an example, if you step aboard the train to Vienna from Prague on the 25th, you will arrive in Vienna, in the afternoon, before you have checked in at the hostel, you have only about 2 days left (if I read your route well, as presume you leave on the evening of the 27th in Vienna).
If you can stay in Amsterdam a day longer at the beginning of the trip, and upgrade Berlin and Vienna for 1 and 2 days. Also the access to London from Paris is a little better as from Amsterdam, as you can also choose the Eurostar, as a reasonable cheap option. (You can book the Eurostar from Amsterdam but it's much more expensive).
If you have some extra days, I would also do one extra day in Rome, that way you have 4 whole days there, and 2 halfs.

Thanks for your quick response. The reason we have Amsterdam on the list twice is because we bought tickets from NYC to London (on Delta) and tickets from London to Amsterdam (on easyJet). This was the cheapest option I could find after weeks of looking. And the second Amsterdam trip is where a large group of friends is meeting us for my sister's birthday.
I am thinking about taking out one city to add length to the others but not sure which is most expenable.

That's always a difficult question, but it's best to assume that you will come again, so visit that town then. If you want to check the options you have regarding budget airlines in Europe, check www.flightassistent.com it gives you the airlines, that are flying on which route.
