Should I be looking for laundromats ahead of time or should I just wait until I get there and find one or maybe come across one? I just don't want to walk around with nasty dirty clothes for 3 weeks straight, I'd like to do my laundry once in each city. (total of 3 cities). That is about once a week.

If you're not bringing your guidebooks with you, it might be a good idea to copy down the laundry information from these books. Also, a lot of maps (the tourist ones) will indicate the laundry places on it.

I just wanted to say that I ended up getting the Eagle Creek Voyage 65L Travel Pack for my trip to Europe in a couple of weeks. I did a little mock packing thing, so I put about how many clothes I thought I would take and I have to say there was still room left over for other stuff plus I have the daypack I can put things in which is a pretty good size. So if anyone is interested in a backpack like that I would suggest going to this webseite...www.irvs.com, everywhere else the backpack was $185 but I got it there for $156. I will have to let everyone know how I make out with it when I am actually in Europe but so far its looking good.
