Spain - Barcelona, Madrid, Baleanic Islands, Valencia City, Costa Blanca, Ok here goes Spain. I would leave in Barcelona and obviously Madrid. I would skip on the Baleares so early in the season. If you like to see Islands and have nice weather my bet would be to go to the Canary Islands instead. (Tenerife or Gran Canary). Getting to Islands either the Baleares of Canary will be a bit expensive, and sticking to the mainland might be a better idea if you are on a budget. Andalusia is the place to be if you are traveling at the beginning of the year. Sevilla, Cadiz, Malaga, are places which are likely to have the best weather in Europe during these months. Granada is also in Andalusia, but it is surrounded by mountains, and can be quite cold. It depends a little on the day, and the wind directions. In my opinion the Alhambra is a must-see, no matter the season.
