I have a great little Pentax camera that is great for backpacking. It's small enough to fit into my jacket pocket and doesn't look very expensive. But the battery life isn't great and I have to recharge it fairly regularly but I'm worried about frying it with aq converter.
While in England my friend used one and her curling iron got fried, as did her blow dryer. From what I've heard, they are not all that reliable.
Any suggestions? hints?
