According to news reports, the Spanish budget airline LTE International has now suspended flights after 20 years in operation due to "financial trouble". Reportedly about 800 passengers were stranded.
Another Spanish airline, FlySur has also suspended operations after only 45 days in operation.
Not a good time to be in the airline business!

I hadn't heard about this one, but it's not surprising. The "experts" are saying that the airline bankruptcies aren't over yet. It will be interesting to see who goes next?
In this part of the world, I think we can still depend on Air Canada, Air Transat and most certainly WestJet.
