As I recall, there were protests last year regarding the expansion of Heathrow, but I didn't realize these individuals were actually "organized" and had a name. I suppose they feel like they need to make a point, however futile it is. The end result will be that all the people whose flights were disrupted will eventually get on a plane, and there will be absolutely no change in the environmental impact.
The only thing they'll probably achieve is strong resentment from the travelling public.
