Mostly, I haven't seen much benefit from the ISIC (International Student Identity Card), not that I qualify, but this looks like a good promotion. At Ibis hotels, you can get breakfast for 1 Euro if you book with the card. Accor hotels have a group of brands that range from budget to luxury. Although most Accor hotels won't work for serious budget travel, there are some deals that do. For example, it's quite common to be able to get a double room at an Ibis hotel in Paris, among other places, for 49 Euros per night. Then with this deal, you could get a very good breakfast (unlike most Paris hotels) for 1 Euro per night. So if there are two of you, that's a very good deal, equivalent or better to a hostel. Etap and Formule 1 are cheap chains for the most part, but tend to be located in further out locations. Now and then it's possible to get a great deal with Mercure or Novotel. www.flyertalk.com/forum/budget-travel/968464-isic-promotion-accor.htmlBooking link here: www.isiccard.com/DiscountPartner.asp?Name=Accor
