Unlike many women, I'm not really a George Clooney fan, but this film was really well-done, with an interesting story. Of course I liked the miles collection side of things too.

WT,
I've been wanting to see that movie for many weeks, as I've heard from numerous sources that it's really well done and a definite contender for an Academy Award. However, the cr@ppy movie theatres here haven't brought the movie in yet (and probably never will).
I have some days-off next week and will make an effort to drive to a town that's showing the movie, as I don't really want to wait for it to come out on PPV or DVD.
Cheers!

Just a quick update......
I finally managed to see "Up In The Air". Despite the reviews, I wasn't quite sure what the theme of the movie was but I found that I enjoyed it immensely. I can definitely see this being a contender for an Oscar!
What an interesting story! I'm still thinking about the "plot twists" and the ending.

Just saw it yesterday - excellent film!
The threads of the plot are many and great, and I really connected with the idea of feeling "at home" when you're not...not sure if I should be concerned about that ;D

In the movie listings this week, I noticed that the goofy theatres here are FINALLY screening the movie. Too late, as our smaller Theatre had it several weeks ago (which is where I saw it).
MTH - yes there are many "threads" in the plot. I'm still thinking about it! It was kind of a "sad" ending though. I was really hoping for a more favourable ending, and the when it was revealed that "Alex" was married, that came as a big surprise! Unfortunate that a relationship eluded the main character, which seemed to make his 10M mile award seem kind of "empty".
Cheers!
