Going to Europe for a bit over 2 months this coming summer. Planning to start in the north and move south (flying on airline miles and into london out of rome was pretty much my only option)
Couple of notes, have to be in Greece on 8/18 for a wedding, and i'm croatian so i'm over investing in time there to explore my family history. Planning to do a 15-day in 2 month eurail pass
London 6/13/2011 6/20/2011 Amsterdam 6/20/2011 6/27/2011 Bruges 6/27/2011 6/29/2011 Prague 6/29/2011 7/6/2011 Salzburg 7/6/2011 7/11/2011 Vienna 7/11/2011 7/18/2011 Bratislava 7/18/2011 7/19/2011 Budapest 7/19/2011 7/24/2011 Zagreb 7/24/2011 7/25/2011 Split 7/25/2011 7/27/2011 Dubrovnik 7/27/2011 8/10/2011 Bari (Italy) 8/10/2011 8/11/2011 Greece 8/11/2011 8/20/2011 Rome 8/20/2011 8/27/2011
Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm thinking i'll need about $10k but i guess that's a post for another area on this board. Appreciate any feedback the boards have.

boarderline12,
Welcome to the Boards!
Your proposed Itinerary looks to be reasonably well sorted. However, one aspect that's not mentioned is the travel times between each of the locations on your list. In some cases this will only be a few hours (Amsterdam to Bruges) and in other cases the better part of a full day.
How are you planning to get from Bari to Greece and Greece to Rome? Also, which part of Greece will the wedding be taking place? Transportation in Greece can be a bit more "challenging" than other parts of Europe.
Cheers!

Yea I'm just kind of assuming slighty shorter stays in certain places once travel times are factored.
According to the eurail site there is a ferry from Dubrovnik to Bari then one from there to Greece. I'm not totally sure where the wedding is in Greece just yet so I'm having to just placeholder for that for the time being. I'll keep that in mind the potential travel difficulties though thanks!
