Hi. We have decided to go to Italy and a bit of France and were just checking to see if anyone has opinions or advice on our itinerary so far. This is it: Nice (we fly here) - 1 day Cannes - 1 day Monaco - 1 day Cinque Terre - 2 days Florence - 3 days Venice - 2 days Naples - 2 days? We're not sure about this one...we haven't really researched it a lot, and we're not sure if it's worth going to, or is 2 days enough time? We have 16 days not inluding travel days (flight there & home). Rome - 4 days - Rome is after Naples because we fly out of Rome to London. Again we're not sure if this is the best choice?
Any advice or opinions on our itinerary would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I dont know much about the French Riviera, so I dont really have a comment on that part.
As for Naples - Sorrento, Capri and Pompeii were nice, Naples - not so much. Personally I am thinking skip it and add those two days somewhere else. You could either increase your time in two of the other cities, or you could add a stop in one of the cute hill towns in northern Italy. (and thereby save yourself all that travel time down to Naples). Just a thought.

I just left Florence a couple of days ago and didn´t really enjoy the place a ton, there is lots of art to look at, but if you are not into art it won´t warrant 3 days, if you are into art then 3 days is great. If you like to party I suggest the Firenze inn, the place is a hole but it is a great place to party.
