My next travels will be in the fall (sept, oct, nov) in Italy and Spain. I had planned to start out in Spain and then Italy, but what is the weather like?
Should I start out in Italy to get the best weather there or what is up with this?
Thanks!

I checked weather sites and such and checked Barcelona and Rome.
Rome: H26-L16 in Sept, H22-12L in Oct, H17-L8 in Nov
Barcelona: H26-L17 in Sept, H21-12L in Oct, H17-L8 in Nov
Should be about the same for the rest of the country, or close. Hope that helps.
Note: H=High, L=Low and all temps are in (°C)

Well I've never been there so I wouldn't know, but the temperature's seem to suggest you could The site is Weather.com - Just use the search tool to search for the city and click 'Averages and Records' and it will give you a monthly breakdown of the average temperatures.

tank tops and shorts will most assuredly keep you out of the churches in Italy!! They really are strict about this and do enforce it.

ya i understand! I'm more of a pants person anyways, and if I do wear shorts, it's cause I zipped the ends off or my cargo pants, but, I meant the expression more temperature wise! Will it be really hot like sundress temperature or just pants and a shirt and I won't be melting?
thanks guys! xoxo Jen

its going to be cool around there Id say 60's-80's F around thoes times of the year so THoes zippy pants are a great idea cause you just add or remove the zipps and you see fit and they take up like no room. nothing like a pair of shorts and pants all in 1. lol

As long they are tasteful you wont have a problem the will only stop you if they are like dazy duke shorts ya know lol. if they still stop you in shorts mode, you zip the pants back on and youll be golden.

Churches in Italy can be quite strict...depends on where you are. Some will have pictorial signs showing what is not allowed. The basic rule is no short for men or women. I've seen some women turned away because their shirts were too short (extremely short!) Strapless tops on women can sometimes be a problem. At heavily tourists churches there can be greater leniency except for the Vatican.
