YAY! Nothing to do with travel but I have to post!

Like I said, nothing to do with travel, but this week has been an amazing week for me, and I HAVE to tell someone!
So, last week Thursday my divorce is finalized! I'm a free man again! The same day, I manage to pay off one of my two debts! Then today I FINALLY found a studio that I absolutely LOVE! One wall is nothing but floor to ceiling windows that look south, so I can see downtown Miami on clear nights, and downtown Aventura at all times. On the roof, I can look north to see Ft. Lauderdale. Everythign is within walking distance (which is a massive plus for me) and I'm only 1 mile from the beach! And I can afford it! On top of all that, I start my new job next Monday! WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

The apt sounds fabulous and best yet within budget! I am miles and miles from the 'beach' so am envious indeed. Everything within walking distance...heavenly! What's the new job....thought you were finishing up school? Or is this in addition to school? Whatever, congrats.

Still in school, but for work I'm moving to another school (an elementary school) instead of the high school I'm at now. It's confusing, we call it school-school and work-school when we talk about it. ;D
And the walking thing? It's great! There's a Publix and Walgreens literally across the street from me (and a Dunkin' Donuts! YAY!), plus I can ride my bike to the beach?!? ::glee::

I move into my new apt next year when it's finally completed, i can't wait! it's in downtown miami. Where in miami are you moving to??

You are working towards an elementary education degree, right...vs high school. Kudos to you my friend! And I think early ed would be the bomb...seeing their little faces when it 'clicks' and they are off and reading! Too fun!

Not in Miami, I'm still in Hollywood, right on Young Circle, but I can see Miami from my studio ::glee::
So I also just found out today some more about my new building. I knew that floors 1-9 were offices and whatnot, but I found out today that their's a charter elementary school on the first few floors!!! I'm going to see if they have any tech jobs available! I'll never even have to leave my building for work! ::glee glee::

oh cool, i really like hollywood. My aunt has an apt right on the beach.
Working with kids drives me crazy sometimes but it is very rewarding. Good luck with that, you'll need it!!!!
