Hi you all! Sorry i've neglected you all!
You know what? I'm going for an interview as a flight attendant with Air Canada on MONDAY!!
Yes I'm so excited!
Ok, I know it's not so much travelling as in backpacking but it's a chance to see the world and being paid for it.
I would be posted in Toronto though, but hey....
SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY! Hope I'm accepted!
xoxoxo Jen

I hope you get to be the face of Air Canada. You'd be great, and the travel privileges would be excellent. Good luck!

Thanks so much guys! On monday there is an "interview" from 2 to 9pm with thousands of questions, group interviews, conferences, etc. Hell on earth for stress heheh! I should know by tuesday if i'm chosen for the second and final interview, and then there will be health tests and then I'm good to start my training on May 1st. If all goes well I'd be ecstatic, but if i'm not chosen, it's just normal life again, no harm done! It will be a Montreal training, but I'd live in Toronto after...kind of sucks cause i'm not particularly fond of Toronto, but hey, with travel passes, when will I be in Toronto anyways?

Nothing like moving somewhere where you already know people! Besides, it's a whole new city to explore! I've found it's fun moving to a new city! Where I grew up on SoFla (Pembroke Pines), we're right next to Hollywood. I've lived most all my life in the Pines, and just recently moved East to Hollywood (1 mile from the beach! YAY!) Let me tell you, even though I've driven through it all my life, it's completely different than living in the Pines! I've got a whole new area to explore! Don't look as moving to Toronto as a bad thing (when you get the job ), look at it as someplace new to get to know! Edit: Gotta work on those spelling skills before I start teaching rugrats...

Won't be a Flight attendant unfortunately, not this time!
I think they had already filled all the spots they needed yesterday because out of the 50 that passed before me today, only 3 were selected. It's hard to believe 47 were unqualified!
I'm ok with this, I guess it's destiny! I'll have many more chances!
