Hey guys, This is Ryan but for some reason my password wont work. Ive been looking at current posts and saw that some people were saying that you would need 75 US dollars per day to get by... Is this so? I was planning to bring around 3000-3500 US for 2 months. Would this suffice if i stayed in hostels and stayed out of restaurants? Thanks- Ryan

Hey Ryan,
Post your email and user name (my memory is bad, I can't remember it!) and I will reset your password and let you know what I changed it to.
$75 US is a good amount to budget for day to day expenses, however, you could do it for a little less if you really put in the effort.
Stay at hostels with kitchens and cook your meals as well as packing your lunches, the larger the dorm, the cheaper the bed and avoid expensive places like Switzerland, the UK and Scandinavia.
It's really helpful if you are on a tight budget to bring a little notebook and keep track of what you are spending - that way you know if you are on track or need to scale it back a bit.
Basically, bring as much as you can, that's all you can do. You'll have a great trip regardless, just keep an eye on your money.

Ryan, you didn't mean literally bring the money did you? It's usually best and easiest to make regular withdrawals from an ATM.
