Maybe an weird topic? I was thinking that it may be a good idea and may benefit people in the starting stages if people who've completed a Europe trip posted some of their overall expenses. As in, people who are comfortable sharing, post how much they spent overall and maybe label the train and plane prices and give a few stats (hostel or hotel, where you went, etc) Just thought the idea would be good as I know I had a lot of money questions at the start. Having the people who've done it post what they used during an actual trip would probably help a lot of people starting their plans

That's tough as prices change so drastically. It's hard to get an accurate idea when one person's trip was 10 years ago or one person style of travelling is larger than anothers.
As far as where they stayed etc., that is what we are trying to do with the "Just Back Reports" section of these boards, but no one seems to be really into it.

I can add that to my just back report if you want. Let me know!
