From previous experience, how much do people usually take/have readily available(ie credit cards)/spend while backpacking in europe? I'm planing on 3 months and from what i hear i will probably end up staying longer. I have gone on vacation and spent 2KCAD in 2 weeks but realistically how much do i need aside from airfare and train because i have those covered. Thanx in advance for ur help

50 Euro per day is a common, barebones budget, which would go something like this:
20 Euro (+/-) for hostel dorm bed 10 Euro (+/-) for food 5 Euro (+/-) for local transport 10 Euro (+/-) attractions 5 Euro (+/-) miscellaneous
That is not a generous allotment and you will probably want to exceed it quite often, particularly in Western Europe.

I'd say about 45-50 Euros budgetted per day on a minimum! May as well have more than too little!
