I live in Australia, so therefore the currancy exchange is a bit different. I have about $10,000 AU which i found out at the moment converts into about $5,797 EUROS.
I am going to England at first. But probably for only about 4 days, and mostly just London and maybe a few day trips. Then Ireland, to only Dublin and probably for only one night. Then Paris, for 4 days or so. Then maybe Nice or Lyon for a couple of Days. The rest 20 or so Days i hope to spend travelling through Italy.
I know i'll need to put aside at least 600 Euros or so, for the month of accomadtion, although in London i might be able to get free accomodation, and if i make a de tour through Switzland, after France i can scab a night or two there as well.
Then i know depending on what train ticket i get, because at the moment i don't know what type i should get i have to put aside about 700 Euros for train tickets/transfers/ and just after little local transport costs.
Then i still pay for air tickets which would be about 1000 Euros.
So that leaves a bit over 1000 EUROS for food/sight seeing/ and just stuff i buy. And that's also, i still haven't budgeted for insurance, passports, travel items etc. Is that enough?

Kira,
How many days in total are you going for?
Normally we recommend a minimum of, at the very least for hostel/food $50 - 75 US, which is 40 - 60 Euros. More obviously is better, it sounds like you'll be fine.
