curious - in italy and france, what is the price of an average bottle of wine, a pint of beer in a low end cafe, and a packet of cigarettes?

Beer is sold by half litre (so 500ml as opposed to 567ml) and is around €2-2.50 ish.
Average bottle of wine, well that's more subjective. But I'd say around €15 for something pretty decent (something that in the US would cost you a fair bit more).
Cigarettes are pretty reasonable as well- cheaper than the UK. I don't smoke so I don't pay much attention to prices though.

here's what we paid in rome.... beer is about 1 euro a can, wine...anywhere from 1.50 euro and up, cigs...3.40 euro average. we used to go to this excellent little restaurant that had amazing table wine for about 3 euro a 1/2 liter.
in paris it was a little more expensive.
