actually, there isn't that much to see in Dallas. so, i wouldn't blame you for choosing another location to visit. but, i'm not really a "tot." i'll be 40 next year. an old man, compared to you. although, i'm young at heart! - d

Many cities have cheap flights to Las Vegas, though.

www.Southwest.com is a great place to find cheap flights. but, Southwest has few destinations direct from Dallas, even though they're based here. thanks go to a speaker of the house from many years ago: Jim Wright

just took a peek. you can fly from Albany (closest SWA city to Montreal) to Los Vegas for under US$200(each way).

The Canadian dollar was trading against the pound at 2.23. That's amazing! I bought when it dropped down to 2.27. I'm kicking myself, but who would have ever imaged it going this low?

It didn't last long. The pound is on the rise again. It's up nearly 10 cents since last week.

I've applied to do a summer International law program through Cornell at in Paris (hosted by the Sorbonne Pantheon). Given that my Canadian self will have to pay private university tuition in USDs I'm VERY excited about the Canadian dollar being so high!
