Alright, so I am planning to go to Europe next year with my boyfriend for 2 months. I should have around 6500 - 7000 to spend.
Here is a list of my budget. ( In CDN dollars )
plane ticket flying from Vancouver to Frankfurt, leaving from Athens to Vancouver: $1200
all other travel expenses including rail pass,metro/tube/bus passes, one cheap flight, euro star, Prague excursion pass, ferry: $1300
53 days worth of hostels (7 nights will be spent with family in Germany): $1500
so that leaves me with around $2500-3000, about $41 a day to eat, tours, admissions, etc etc. we are not planning to spend a lot on food, maybe a couple meals in restaurants, mostly buying from grocery stores, not that much partying but obviously the occasional night.
does this sound like it will be enough??? looking around the boards, many people say that 50EUR, or 75CDN is enough, while others say 90EUR !!
let me know if anybody thinks this is doable, or will i need much more.
ps: we will be staying in germany, france, amsterdam, czech, spain, italy, greece, france, UK(london). all in main citys.
