I need to make an international money transfer to reserve an apartment in Spain. I've been looking around for ways to make the transfer and I haven't found any service other than Western Union. Does anyone know of any other services (preferably free) with which I could make the transfer?
Thanks

Can you not just do a bank transfer from your account straight into the account of the owners of the apartment. Get his sort code and account number and get your bank to send it across.
Or can you set up a paypal account and transfer it to him this way (there are small commission fees for this).
I have sent money via western union before and it can get quite pricey.
I'm just guessing here so I don't know if this helps you.

joschmoo, Is International Money Transfer the only option available for this particular apartment? I'm assuming they don't accept credit cards, but would it be possible to send them an International Money Order drawn in Euros?
I'd suggest checking with your Bank, to find out what products they might offer. The only other option I can think of is Western Union.
Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to contact my bank tomorrow and see what they can do for me.

Maybe I am late, but couldn't you check with the appartment if you can do it though paypal?
