Well, well, seems as Italy 2009 will be true to me On my list of things to do before I die is Olive and Wine Harvest! I would love to check one of these off in September. I think for olives it will be too early though. Do any of you have info about wine harvest in Italy? I've been googling and haven't found anything... THanks

Gotta go with them on this one, i'd book in advance, as for my trip to Spain I booked a little late (although my trip was in May, not yet peak season) and we had a hard time finding a nice private room!

Hey there! Well, you haven't seemed to overload as most of these cities are "considered small". I would check out the railroads to make sure you aren't backtracking between cities.
I would also suggest you do Toledo as a daytrip, unless you really have thing planned out there, as it is quite small to walk around.
5-7 nights in Madrid and Barcelona seems pretty good. I haven't been to your other cities!
Good luck!

Hey guys totally not related to travel, but i've just gotten such good news that I have to tell everybody lol
I'm officially a godmother of Lucas, born in June. He's my cousin (my aunt aka godmother was 9 when I was born) so i'm more an aunt than a cousin.
I AM SO HAPPY!
There you go, giddy auntie has bragged!

Wow, thanks for all this info. And I'll be visiting Positano for sure if I get down there, as I love "under the Tuscan sun"... i know i know Eagle, you'll always have enough money to travel if you intend it that way. Eat macaroni and cheese if you have to, but don't skip travelling

Hi! As my itinerary isn't really fixed, I was wondering ig you know of any original hostels in Italy? There are castles in Germany and France, etc. etc. etc. Anything special or original in Italy?
