We have reached 200 members! (And that doesn't even include guests!)
While I'm here, what are your feelings on guest members that can post without registering?
I can change it so that you can read everything but if you want to post you have to be a member. Thoughts, opinions?

I guess there would be pros and cons to that. Some people may just want to ask one question and not really stick around anyway. They may register and never come back. You would have more 'members' but the same amount of discussion.
I also used to post on a message board fairly often and then when you had to become a member I quit posting since you had to login everytime which was a pain (i know you can autologin here).
Congrats on the 200th member though, your online community is growing!

Congrats Kim!
Feeling rather 'elderly' this evening as I remember when you first started this whole thing! ;D
I think I agree with Patrick here......let guests ask their questions. Once they find out there is worlds of info here hopefully they will want to register and stick around. BUT....the need to register has in the past kept me from joining in on several lists. So.......FWIW, I say let them ask away.

Yeah, I happen to agree.
If we were having a real problem with spam postings it would be different, but I think it works how it is.
Just was curious about what everyone else thought.
Thanks!

I think it's fine to let the guest just post their questions. That' what I did and I found the discussion board so interesting that I joined!
