Loving your trip reports Bara! Thanks for posting them. How did you like the Rijks Museum? I still think it was the best presented museum I saw in all my 4 months. Wonderfully well done and more info than you will ever likely need. Sounds like you had one of those drop dead gorgeous days in Amsterdam...how exciting. Will be anxious to hear your report/thoughts on Dresden. Happy travels my friend!

Hello!
The rijk museum was very good and in a way different from other museums because it not all the same stuff. I onlly got to see about 1/3 of it because the rest is closed for renovation and it will not be open until 2006. If I would've made one day later, I wouldn't been able to see it at all since they closed it enitirely starting October.
Yes, my last day in Amsterdam was awesome. One thing i really enjoyed is being able to just sit there and watch the city go about on its daily life. If people watching was a sport, I would have a few gold medals already!
Dreden was very surprising. I had lost my guide by then i didn't really have any idea of what to do first, other than go to Fauerkirshce, but when I got to the hostel, they had a tourist guide on Dresden and I spend about 3 hours reading it. That prepared me to get out the next day and see the things and exhibits and know their background and why they happend to be. I think I should make it back here but just to see the things that are a bit out of town. Also the albertinium which for some reason was closed this time around, and also to tour inside fauerkirsche on a wednesday!!
Ginger, I went thru 2.5 rolls of film in Dresden alone. That's about 65 pictures. I am sure that will put a big smile on your face!!
Chao!!

Good to hear from you Bara! Sounds like all things considered you are having a great time. Good to hear you took so many pics in Dresden....because I want to see them of course ;D but also because I really suggested you visit there and if you took that many pics you must have found it worth seeing. You're meeting up with Big Ray!!! That is the coolest! Hope you guys have a great time, be sure and get a pic or two of both of you together! Keep writing...we love to read of your adventures. ging

Ray is a pretty cool guy. We had a goo d time indeed. No pictures cuz I didn't bring along my camera. But next time prolly i'll have the camera with me.
And once again thanx Ging for suggesting Dresden. It istruly is a hidden gem of a city . I think i would definately go back if only to get into the albertinium and Fauerkirsche!
Prague is a nice city to walk around. I spend most of the day at the Royal Castle and then just walkin around the mala strana. Then i went into the "ghost walk: at 745 PM, that was fun. I am so tired. I think I am gonna bag it early.
I am staying at the Clown and Bard. I'll be sure I enter a review when I come back. For now, I am depending on them for a bed to sleep in.. ;D
