Hey, Im Australian and am looking into obtaining a Polish passport as poland are becoming part of the EU in May 2004. My Dad and grandparents were born in poland, but im not sure if im still eligble to get one.

If any1 has any info or advice i would be very greatful. I have emailed the consulate but no reply as yet.

i glanced at this for myself. my mom's dad was born in Poland, but emigrated as a pre-teen. (all by himself!)

the regs seem pretty strict. as an american, i couldn't qualify. but, i think one's mom or dad must be a polish citizen.
