My boyfriend and I are bringing our digital camera to Europe this summer. We would like to bring this cord attachment that hooks the camera up to a computer, upload the pics onto a website, and free up space on our memory card. Do you think we will be allowed to do this? I don't know how paranoid people are about uploading computer viruses and such. Also would like to know anything about computer use there in general.

Hi, and welcome. I was going to tell you that both these subjects, digital cameras and computer availability, have been covered in some depth several times on these boards previously and direct you to the posts that covered them. And then I realized there is no 'search archives' function here.....or is there and I am just missing it? So I will say that net cafes are everywhere and easy to find. And for the most part inexpensive. And most, in my experience, do not allow you to upload your photos. You'll need to bring loads of memory cards if digital is the way you are going.

oh no problem at all.....just that so much has been written on this with some terrific advice I had hoped to direct you there as some of the best posts were a while ago.
maybe when Kim logs in she will know how to find some of the previous posts?

duh! I found it! Up at the top menu bar is the search key....just type in digital camera or computer and change the search time frame....I put in 60 days and got several results!
