I've been thinking about doing the SWAP UK/BUNAC Britain program but have no clue if it's a good program or heard of anyone that has done it before. Anyone out there that's done it before that can give some insight? Is it hard to find a job once you're there? what kind of jobs do you typically get? do you find your own accommodation? any help would be appreciated.

Hi Babygirl, I used SWAP UK . They were great , especially if you're not sure what to do and how to go about doing it. It's a good way to start off with your advanture. They'll give you a Bunac location in london that you can visit. When you visit Bunac theres is a job board and rooms/flats for rent. Computers to type out your CV. Monthly events like day trips and weekend trips, social events. Loads of information and the staff are great with any questions you have. Checkout this website www.travelcuts.com It has tones of people who've done the SWAP thing too. If your more worried about the job find a job, there's lots of recruitment agencies (I mean a lot) in every profession. Register with as many as you can. www.reed.co.uk (I use all the time, got some really good temp jobs) www.tntmag.co.uk/uk/ (comes out every month and its free, very good mag.) Just do your research, go on message boards like this and ask away. Hope this helps. I'm in london if you need any advice. Sli
