How much weight did you lose (or gain - naughty, naughty!) whilst travelling Europe? ;D P.S. Numbers thinks that if he is going to travel at the end of the year he'll lose weight and won't need to diet now.

About 15 pounds over 4 months. Probably would have been much more but what I lost in fat I surely gained in muscle. ;D I was in pretty good shape overall by the time I got home. Of course, walking probably 500 miles couldn't hurt!

Yup, I lost about 8 pounds in 2 months, (but the ice cream and bread doesn't help..hehehe) but I felt a bigger difference cause I was firmer everywhere, especially my calves! xoxo jen

I just got a wiff of this thread and though Id ask a quick question.
I wouldnt say im out of shape but Im a computer tech by trade so im not on my feet all day long, so would you recomend that I start waking around the block and getting used to walking? if so about how many miles a day? Im wondering cause I dont wanna get over there and find out I cant walk a single step more and be hostle bound for a few days lol.About how much did you walk around on average per day? Thanks for the Input!

I'd suggest start walking, slowly, and build yourself up to where you can walk, casually, a couple of miles with no troubles. And if you've access to weights, start working on those shoulders and back! Just basic stretching and strength training...you don't need to 'buff up'. just get those muscles used to some weight again. ;D I averaged most days 3-5 miles total walking...some in a hurry, some just strolling through museums...but you will walk, and walk alot!
tech huh? Hardware or software?
