My husband and I (I'm of chinese descent, he's part white part japanese) are planning on a trip to Europe and we're wondering if there are places that we should avoid. We're hoping to visit England, Scotland, Italy, France, and Greece.

Welcome! Being a white American I may not actually be able to effectively allay your fears, but in the countries you list I can't imagine you having any racism experiences. I'm saying this very very tongue in cheek....but I generally see more Japanese than any other group when traveling and they all seem to be having a wonderful time indeed. ;D

I haven't seen any first-hand, but it would be a lie to suggest there isn't any. You'll find great people and jerks in any country. But from what I've heard, most of the racism is directed towards immigrants and foreign workers, unfortunate as that sounds. But don't let any thoughts hamper your plans, go where you want and you'll be fine.
