Yep...in fact virtually any email can be accessed by going to your servers log in page.

One really good site is mail2web.com this can access normal POP3 accounts over the internet.

I use yahoo. I noticed while in Paris (and even a few caribbean islands) that the internet cafes I went in brought up Yahoo by default.... made it nice & easy to get to my mail! Its free & you can access it from anywhere & the mailbox itself is actually large enough that if you clean it out every so often you'll never need to upgrade to the paid mailbox!
Good luck! Melody

I access my pop3 email through a different provider through my Yahoo account. (I also have Hotmail set up that way, I think, but I haven't tried that lately.)
Yahoo only should be fine. You could have a Hotmail backup if it makes you feel more secure. But really almost anything will work.

one thing about logging in from Europe: some country's keyboards don't have keys in the same place. some don't have them at all! an important key that's sometimes missing is @. hard to send email w/o it! Edit: i guess you could always cut & past?
often, they post the ascii code for missing keys were they can be seen. but, it's been over a year since i was last in Europe; have things changed at all in this regard?
