I was wondering if anyone knows if i can get pamflets/videos etc from the country tourism office. Ive been looking and unfortunately i havent been able to find anything. If u have any ideas or know of sites it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx muchly. Jaymi Dee

Could you be more specific regarding the information you want, and which countries you're interested in. Most tourist offices will send brochures or pamphlets on request. Let me know what you're interested in.

France, Italy, Greece.Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic and switzerland are the ones that i am most interested it. As for cities, im not sure, i would like some input, there are so many places to choose from.

I'll try to find some information on country-specific web sites, so that you can order some pamphlets (might take me a little while to get the information together).
I was curious also on whether you've looked at any Guide Books yet for the countries you're interested in? You might find some either in your local Book Stores or Library. Some of the popular Guide Books are published by Rick Steves, Lonely Planet or Let's Go. I tend to prefer the Rick Steves books, as I like his travel philosophy and find the information in these are very current. If you want to have a look at the RS Guidebooks, check his web site.

I recommend you check our your local public library. I get all my travel videos/DVDs through them.
Mind you..I work there ;D

Thanx Eagle, a great help as always. Been super busy here lately but the book store is one of my next places, i love reading so ill probably get a couple of guidebooks, to make sure im getting all the info possible.
Libby- I never even thought of the library...duh!, but our main library is being rebuilt right now and thats probably why i didnt give it a whirl.
